It is a matter of regret that the main organiser of the Woman Premiere Chess 2010 and secretary of Khordha District Chess Association Subhasis Patnaik met an serious accident on Nov 11. According to All India Chess Federation website, he is currently at the Kallinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar and has completely lost his memory.
Looking at the present condition it seems that he will not be involved in organising the event.Accordingly we have decided to inform the players regarding the following changes:
* The Venue has been changed to INFOSYS CAMPUS, INFOCITY, Nandan Kanan Road, Bhubaneswar.
* Players are requested to report at Gate No-1, Infosys Campus, Infocity, Nandan Kanan Road, Bhubaneswar on arrival in Bhubaneswar.
* The venue is around 7-8 kms from airport and railway station of Bhubaneswar.
* No reception counter will be there in either of the places.
8 The auto fair from airport/Rly station to venue will cost around Rs 80.
* As the venue is at the edge of the city, players will have to take food in the canteen inside the campus on payment.
* There are no hotels near by, therefore accommodation has been arranged in the venue itself.
* Players and accompanying persons shall be charged at a subscidised rate amounting Rs 3,000 per head for the entire ttournament period in the same campus on double sharing basis.
* The accommodation provided will be of 3-Star class without internet facility. However players can use their data card.
* Players are requested to intimate the organisers through mail regarding the arrival, no of accompanying persons on or before Dec 10 so as to book the rooms.
* Organisers will not be held responsible for late intimation regarding the arrival.
